Amazon user's PS5 God of War Ragnarok order swapped with Bluetooth speakers

E-commerce giants have been reported to deliver wrong items several times in the past few years. Imagine ordering your favourite gadgets after a long wait, and something else gets delivered. A similar incident has been reported again on reddit.

An Amazon user who ordered the PS5 God of War Ragnarok bundle was disappointed to receive two Bluetooth speakers in the box. A user shared his experience on a PlayStation India Reddit subthread and revealed that he ordered a PS5 from supplier KK Overseas Corporation on February 7. However, when the package arrived, it was listed in the Electronics Bazaar store.

A user uploaded an unboxing video showing two large Bluetooth speakers instead of the PS5 they ordered. I contacted Amazon customer service and informed the user that it would take three days to investigate. The time stamps recorded on the video matched the delivery time, proving that the user received the wrong item.

He wrote: “Amazon customer service said they are investigating and it will take 3 days. Timestamps are recorded with the video to match the delivery time."

Additionally, the user urged people to avoid buying PS5 online and shared another case where a buyer received a used PS4 Pro 1TB from the same seller. He said: “Please do not buy PS5 from these sellers. Go to the offline store and shop. I learned this the hard way. He was very excited and everything went down. Instead, I was traumatized and literally cried. Amazon will either return the PS5 to me or give me hope that I will return it. #PS5Scam #AmazonScam Update: KAY KAY Another overseas customer got a 1TB PS4 Pro yesterday! Seems like a big scam! And they asked you to wait until February 23rd.

When a Reddit user joked that he was getting a PS5 instead of Bluetooth speakers, the original user responded that the situation seemed intentional on the part of the supplier. He suggested the seller didn't have a PS5 in stock and filled the order with Bluetooth speakers to avoid any potential strikes or issues with Amazon.
