First Atlas Fallen Gameplay Trailer Is Full Of Sand And Action

Developer Surge Deck13 has revealed the first gameplay trailer for the upcoming RPG Atlas Fallen, which is definitely not the title of Gerard Butler's new movie. While the game's first CGI-animated trailer showed a world of humans buried in the sands of time, fallen gods, and deadly robots, there was also some chilling inspiration with a teasing weapon mode.

Atlas Fallen is set in a world where humanity must be freed from the tyranny of ruthless gods, requiring clever hacking, slashing and dodging in the semi-real world as seen in gameplay. A sandy environment to your advantage.

Another interesting feature is the option to create a custom playstyle, taking into account the nature of the enemies and using them to create your own system that suits your character. The big difference is that unlike their work Deck13, the Surge series confirms that the game is crooked. Towards a powerful fantasy action RPG like Devil May Cry rather than something like Souls.

Atlas Fallen is scheduled for May 16th and will be published by Focus Interactive. It will be available for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Pre-ordering unlocks a few additional features as you can equip new armor and gauntlet skins as part of the Ruin Rising pack.
